“Mother and Child” — This sculpture is the artist’s first work inspired by her own mother and younger sister, who is 18 years younger than her. It marks the starting point of her continuous exploration of the theme of motherhood. The piece portrays the forms of a mother and her child, expressing the child’s bright and youthful stage of life as they grow under the warm, protective, and nurturing presence of their mother.
